Find buyer intent → How the price is set
The price is fixed before payment: the calibrated variable cost of one bounded search-and-classify attempt (web search, model calls, compute, database, storage, transfer, settlement), multiplied by 3 (cost + 200%, ≈66.7% gross margin). Actual usage is recorded per request; there is no usage surcharge or automatic true-up.
Current calibration (agent-intent-match-cost-plus-2026-09-29-v1): estimated variable cost ≈ $0.1158 per request × 3 = 0.35 USDC (minimum transaction 0.10 USDC). No tiers: every request runs the same bounded pipeline, so nothing measured justifies different prices.
Payment policy
One payment buys one search-and-classify run, including a credible zero-match result (no demand found is a valid answer). If the paid run fails, resend the identical body with the same Idempotency-Key plus Authorization: Bearer <Idempotency-Key> (no new payment) for up to two free retries. A URL-only request whose page cannot be retrieved is refused before settlement, so nothing is charged. No automatic refunds; uncertain settlements require reconciliation. See /terms.
Machine clients: GET /api/v1/pricing returns this price; POST /api/v1/quote returns the exact x402 requirement for your request body.
